** NOTICE **

As the cost of all utilities has skyrocketed we have had to take time to review our past usage and try to estimate for this coming season.  Unfortunately that means we must readjust  our pricing if we are to continue to provide our friends and neighbors with custom processing that meets both our standards and yours.

The price list below is current for the 2022 season.

PRICING FOR WHOLE BIRDS:

​

Chickens ----- $8.00

   Turkeys   ----- $18.00

Giblets and Gizzards are returned upon request and included in the price.

Please be aware that due to the current Avian Influenza outbreak, any batch of birds found to have parasites of any kind WILL NOT be eligible to have their giblets returned. Necks however are still safe and will be returned upon request.

(At this time we do not offer quail, rabbit, duck or goose processing)

ADDITIONS:

​

Cut Birds ----- $9.00 extra/bird

(special bagging requests may incur an additional fee)

 

Split, Peeled, & Cleaned Gizzards ----- $ 0.25 extra/bird

​

Full Crops ---- $2.00 extra/bird

(impacted crops will not incur a fee- please let us know of such a condition at drop)

SPECIAL NOTES:

WE WILL NOT CUT BROWN BIRDS!

ONLY CORNISH CROSS ARE ELLIGIBLE FOR CUT UPS.

All requests for cut up birds are taken during the intake/scheduling phone call.  Scheduling and staffing for the day is done based upon the expected work load for the number of birds scheduled therefore we cannot accommodate cut up requests at drop off.  If you decide you would like birds cut up, or more birds cut up, after scheduling  we require at least TWO WEEKS notice prior to your drop off date to make any changes.  While we do our best to accommodate our clients needs we ask that you understand that scheduling, especially during the spring and summer seasons, can be extremely tight.  We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you have any special bagging requests, please make us aware of it when you schedule your appointment so that we may allocate the appropriate amount of time for the extra work.

DEPOSITS:

​

Old Hibernia Farm reserves the right to require a deposit in an amount up to 50% of the anticipated processing invoice in order to secure an appointment.  If a deposit is required customer will be notified at time of scheduling.  Deposit must be made within 48-hours of scheduling a processing date, non-payment of required deposit will result in cancellation of scheduled date.

 

Deposits are non-refundable for any processing dates cancelled without 48-hours notice.
